America's best-selling luxury car

2020 was a year that most automakers would like to forget due to the drop in sales and the many production problems they faced due to the spread of the Corona virus.

BMW was the best seller in the United States, selling 278,732 cars, a 17.5% decrease, and it is worth noting that it was fined $18 million (67 million riyals) by the Securities and Exchange Commission for inflating its sales between 2015 and 2019.

In second place comes Lexus, which sold 275,041 cars in 2020, which represents a decrease of 7.7%, due to the weak sales of ES and RX, and in third place comes Mercedes, which sold 274,916 passenger cars, a decrease of 13%. C-Class sales are down 46.5% during the year, while E-Class, S-Class and CLS sales are down more than 30%.
